About Paul Paradis & BioShield AI

The founder, the mission, and an honest take on what this platform is — and what it is not.

Who Paul is

Paul Paradis is the founder and editor of BioShield AI. He created the platform from a simple belief: when people feel sick, worried, or uncertain, they deserve clear information they can understand quickly.

Paul is not a doctor, scientist, or public health official, and BioShield AI does not replace licensed medical care. He believes honesty about that matters. The purpose of this platform is to help everyday people think clearly, understand common warning signs, ask better questions, and know when it may be time to seek real medical attention.

Like many people, Paul has seen how quickly health concerns can create fear and confusion. Whether it is seasonal illness, travel sickness, food poisoning, new viruses, or unexplained symptoms, many people search online and find either panic-driven misinformation or overly technical language. He wanted to build something calmer, clearer, and more useful.

Paul approaches health topics with curiosity, common sense, and respect for facts. He is interested in how people make decisions under stress, how information can help or harm, and how technology can responsibly make useful knowledge easier to access.

Why BioShield AI exists

BioShield AI was created as an educational platform to help users better understand symptoms, exposure scenarios, personal preparedness, and the difference between situations that may be monitored versus situations that may require urgent care.

The goal is not to diagnose anyone. The goal is to help people think more clearly about what to do next.

Paul believes the future will continue to bring new health questions. Viruses evolve. Travel spreads illness faster. Families worry. Information moves instantly, but trustworthy guidance often does not. BioShield AI was built around the belief that preparation, awareness, and calm thinking matter more than panic.

One line that matters: Everything on this site is intended to support — not replace — the relationship between individuals and licensed healthcare professionals.

An honest framing

At heart, Paul is simply a regular person who is just as curious as everyone else. He built this platform not because he claims to know everything, but because none of us do — and all of us benefit when information is clearer, calmer, and more human.

A note from Paul

“I built BioShield AI because I ask the same questions everyone else asks when something feels wrong:

Is this serious? Should I wait? Should I get checked? Am I overreacting — or not reacting enough?

If this site helps people feel calmer, think clearer, and make smarter decisions, then it served its purpose.”
