1. What BioShield AI is — and isn't
BioShield AI is an educational AI-powered personal risk-awareness and preparedness platform. It provides general information, framing, and suggestions. It is not a medical provider, clinician, or diagnostic tool. Using the service does not create a clinician-patient relationship.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old (or the minimum legal age in your jurisdiction) to use BioShield AI. If you are using the service on behalf of a minor in your care, you are responsible for how you interpret and apply any guidance.
3. Acceptable use
When using BioShield AI, you agree that you will not:
- Use the service for any unlawful purpose or to harm yourself or others.
- Attempt to extract training data, reverse-engineer the AI, or bypass safety measures.

4. AI limitations
BioShield AI uses large language models, which can make mistakes. Outputs may be incomplete, out of date, or incorrect. You should not rely on the service as your sole source of information for any health decision. When in doubt, consult a qualified clinician.

6. Third-party links and services
BioShield AI may reference or link to third-party websites, products, or services, including telehealth, testing, or preparedness products. We are not responsible for those third parties. Your use of them is governed by their own terms and policies. Affiliate or referral arrangements, where present, do not alter our editorial framing.
7. Intellectual property
The design, text, graphics, and code of BioShield AI are owned by BioShield AI or licensed to it. You may use the service for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, republish, or create derivative works based on the site without permission.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BIOSHIELD AI AND ITS PROVIDERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold BioShield AI and its affiliates harmless from any claim arising out of your misuse of the service or your violation of these terms.
